Information DVWC receives
DVWC receives information that people voluntarily submit through membership applications, renewals, event registrations, email messages, and member-account activation. This may include contact details, membership information, dog and activity interests, and information needed to administer club programs.
How information is used
Information is used to review and administer membership, communicate about club business, provide member-portal access, organize events, maintain club records, and meet legitimate administrative or legal responsibilities.
Who may access it
Access is limited to authorized DVWC officers and service providers who need the information for club administration. Officer portal access is role-based. DVWC does not publish member contact information through the public website.
Security and retention
DVWC uses access controls and private server storage for membership systems. Information is retained only as needed for club administration, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and applicable obligations. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
External websites
The website links to independent organizations and services. Their privacy and operating practices are controlled by those organizations, not DVWC.
Questions or corrections
Members may use the DVWC contact page to ask about their membership information or request corrections. Club officers cannot view a member's password.
